This position encompasses guiding our Learning and Development (L&D) Team to develop and maintain an effective and comprehensive learning and development program.Together, we complete complex needs assessment and review enterprise trainings. I work with leadership to identify functions, departments or teams that would benefit from improvement in employee productivity, performance, engagement and/or skillset. Our team is developing innovative solutions and training programs to address gaps identified. I direct development and delivery of interventions and ensure validation that desired outcomes have been reached.

This position led the day-to-day implementation and management of the Centerstone Center for Simulation in Behavioral Health, an Enterprise-wide hub for the delivery of clinical training in evidence-based psychotherapy models that align with Centerstone's high priority clinical projects. This role supported the Director of Clinical Education in the development and delivery of simulation-based curricula, training effectiveness outcomes evaluation and research, and coordination with other clinical education entities across the Enterprise. This appointment also led the recruitment, scheduling, and management of standardized patients and other Clinical Education contracted staff.

This position provided a wide array of support for community-based evaluation projects including participant recruitment, tracking, and retention, data collection, database maintenance, provision of ongoing internal and external reports, and assisting evaluation team in the dissemination and utilization of evaluation information and other grant requirements. I was an active team member in the planning, implementation and maintenance of grant projects (e.g., provide project management assistance, provide ongoing information for project improvement and model fidelity, etc.). I served as a liaison between grant officials, program staff, and the evaluation team. This position existed in the Be in Charge program, Centerstone's Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program. Be in Charge is a teen pregnancy, STD, and HIV prevention program serving youth (ages 12 to 19), educators, and other adults within the Middle Tennessee area. The purpose of Be in Charge is to reduce teen pregnancy, STD rates, and HIV transmission and the behavioral risks underlying teen pregnancy by implementing medically accurate evidence-based curriculum. I provided in-school classroom lessons to youth in grades 7-12 and other community outreach educational sessions. Additionally, as team leader, I provided leadership and monitoring of direct service staff. This position required me to possess leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and verbal and written communications skills. I led others and help to build a team, learn and practice new skills and have the ability to work effectively with a variety of professionals. The ability to review and use data from a variety of sources was essential. I led others in meetings, trainings, and forums.

This position provides counseling and crisis services to individuals and family in a private practice setting. Further duties include development and administration of therapeutic treatment and interventions addressing mental and behavioral health. This role requires collaboration with a clinical team and supervisor as well as other community professionals to coordinate service plans that are individualized, strengths-based, and trauma-informed.

This position was with Franklin County Community Reentry in Winchester, TN. I originally started as an intern for FCCR, and then became a contracted computer instructor. As an intern, my duties included case file auditing, assisting with individualized reentry success plans, and organizational tasks. I also started as the basic computer instructor, teaching inmates computer skills focusing on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, setting up email accounts, using the internet as a search tool, filling out online job applications, etc. Upon my internship ending I was contracted as the basic computer instructor for an additional two months before graduating to being a full-time case manager. In the position of case manager, I assessed eligible offenders using a proxy, provided offender needs assessments, provided case management and assistance in maintaining program database. I also developed individualized reentry success plans for clients.

This position was located at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. I was responsible for operating a computerized cash register, managing stock invoices, receiving and putting out stock, providing customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout my department.

This was a student based position at the University of the South, Sewanee, TN. Environmental Residents, or ERs, were responsible for sorting and collecting dorm recycling. In addition to coordinating dorm recycling efforts, I also assisted in transporting the dorm recycling to its appropriate recycling centers. I also helped with "green events" such as the Dorm Energy Saving Challenge and the Environmental Art Show. Part of this position was also motivating other students to live in a more environmentally friendly fashion. I planned dinners as well as fun dorm activities to motivate other students. In competition with 17 other dormitories, the dorm in my charge won the 2011-2012 Energy Cup by reducing its total electricity usage for the semester.
