I am a Staff Engineer at All4 in the Houston, TX office. The company focuses on environmental, health, and safety consulting. I have experience in air permitting, RCRA permitting, Chemical Reporting, and health and safety auditing.I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. During my time at the university, I have taken the initiative to participate in research at various institutions:At the Radiology and Nuclear Engineering Lab, I collaborated with my team to build hardware for portable noble gas samplers. These devices would be capable of detecting gases, notably Xenon, at testing sites. At the Laboratory for Cellular and Metabolic Engineering, I researched gene-editing technologies such as CRISPR-Cas9 and Golden Gate Cloning. I gained experience performing PCR reactions and laboratory techniques necessary to both assemble the genetically modified vectors in vivo within bacteria cells and incolulate the DNA into the yeast. My work involved the genetic engineering of Saccharomyces cerevisiae to produce value-added products.
