Consumer Lending IT, June 2018 – Sept 2019Led an organization of 16 persistent agile feature teams, plus maintenance team, in delivery of critical compliance updates to the existing Consumer Lending application system, while also driving opportunities to launch technology transformation. • Established a new leadership team for lending organization. This was executed by recruiting internal and external leaders and making necessary staffing adjustments.• Established a Technology Transformation Roadmap for Consumer Lending, identifying the desired architectural end-state for the new loan application system, as well as making recommendations for launching transformation. • Worked closely with key business executives to influence the relationship between IT and Business partners. • Led the organization to deliver critical compliance system changes on very compressed timelines.• Merged two diverse technology teams into a cohesive IT organization. Deposits IT, October 2017 – June 2018• Managed Deposits Technology Program Team and two feature development agile teams.• Partnered closely with business to implement Lean Portfolio Management to better refine work moving into the Program Team backlog. Core Banking, May 2016 – October 2017• Led two major upgrades to the FIS/Systematics Core Banking systems; implemented on schedule and budget with no impact to system availability.• Led negotiation of the FIS Maintenance contract, resulting in a 5-year cost avoidance of $16.6 million for ongoing support services.• Responsible for the performance and availability of the Core Banking systems. • Provided ongoing leadership for the Core Banking staff, including recruiting for niche market skills.• Managed annual budget of $12M plus BCO budget of $2M. • Partnered with all Bank IT executives, key Bank business executives, and IT partners across the enterprise. • Managed relationship with key external vendor and offshore resources.
