• Developed a Graphic User Interface (GUI) through MATLAB coding to classify driveline exit site infections of LVAD patients based an image of the exit site• Researched proper classification techniques for driveline infections • Coded an automatic image processing tool for the orienting, zooming, and pixelating a driveline exit site image for classification using MATLAB • Worked on implementing a stain normalization technique to driveline exit site images to normalize the image color for expert classification

• Collaborated with other interns to work through user-created products and edited the entries for accuracy and completeness• Processed new catalog submissions from our supplier clients by loading the data into our directory and ensuring the content was demo-ready and met the standards expected by our clients• Reviewed previously added products to ensure it accurately represented the manufacturer's offerings• Performed other product development related tasks and research as needed

Helped complete operative reports, worked on filling out patients' charts, and assisted in putting together presentations to be given by the Doctor. Additionally, made surgical charts, did insurance work, and helped with pre and post operative planning.

Worked with customers to help them find the perfect running shoe. Performed a gate analysis on customers as well as informed them of proper stretching techniques, clothing options and shared other training tips and advice.
