My job at Victoria's Secret has taught me about the day-to-day operations in a retail store. I have been given multiple responsibilities that have developed my communication and leadership skills as well as my work ethic. I was able to train new employees on how to operate a cash register and communicate to customers. I have helped hundreds of patrons to decide on the correct product by learning about the merchandise and making recommendations based on the patron's budget and personal preferences. I also generated customer loyalty by opening the third most store credit cards of all employees in the store.

I believe that my main responsibility as a waitress was to create a positive atmosphere in the restaurant. I accomplished this by taking orders, delivering dishes and all the while remaining organized in a fast-paced environment. On top of patron hospitality, I was able to generate extra revenue by up-selling the daily drink and food specials. In addition to waiting on the regular restaurant guests, I also served hundreds of guests at large banquets and parties such as weddings, funerals, and golf tournaments. This job taught me how to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure atmosphere. I was also able to develop my communication skills by engaging with hundreds of customers.
