San José Day (SJD) is a free family-friendly annual outdoor festival celebrating the city's diverse arts and culture through live music, dance, art displays, a local business fair, and food. San José Day brings the community together and encapsulates our evolving creative culture. San José Day is annually celebrated on April 8 of every year to reflect San Jose's area code- 408.

As Community Space Manager, I have the pleasure of connecting with local organizations to our community event space resources and curating public events in the Huddle at the Google Visitor Experience. In addition, I manage day-to-day operations of our Huddle Community Lounge, along with overseeingour Greeter Program with 20+ Staff.

Leading Local Color's Public Art and Creative Service programs, connecting artists with local opportunities.As Creative co-curator and project manager for all public art and creative service projects I was tasked with initiating, planing, executing, monitoring, and closing projects through budgeting, timelines, legal agreements, material management, maintaining client-artist relationships, photo/video documenting, hosting project events, and so on. In my role I had the pleasure of working with 280 Bay Area Artists, community partners, city officials, funding partners, and foundations.For each project, I coordinated social media and marketing (newsletters, pressreleases, etc). In celebration of successful projects, I curated and hosted project events (Mural Unveilings) with music, food, activities, and speeches.In the last year of my involvement, I managed and executed 3 to 9 projects per quarter. Through my programs, I facilitated over $353,000 directly into the pockets of 280 local artists.
