I am an integral team member for a variety of custom market research projects in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, including both qualitative and quantitative primary research studies among healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers. My experience includes awareness, trial, and usage (ATU) tracking studies; disease monitor studies; and concept testing for medical devices, for various rare diseases and rare blood disorders, oncological medications, diabetes devices, neurological degenerative disorders, and gene therapies. Thus far, I have served as a primary client contact, delivering final reports to clients; managed study schedules, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and reporting; developed quantitative surveys and qualitative discussion guides; conducted in depth interviews with physicians and live survey pre-tests with both physicians and patients; become proficient in the statistical software, Q, and gained deeper knowledge of SPSS and Excel; and have gained experience coding transcripts and open-ended data, testing survey programming, quantitative data cleaning, and doing quality control for all client deliverables.

I co-designed and executed three different independent research studies. These projects required me to develop hypotheses, study designs, and study procedures; navigate institutional review board approval; generate intricate Qualtrics surveys; manage the data collection, storage, and cleaning processes; conduct data analysis using statistical software such as R and SPSS; write manuscripts; and create and present scientific posters on my findings. Additionally, I applied for and was awarded a research grant for one of my studies.

I worked in the Robert DeRubeis Ph.D. Laboratory coding qualitative patient data to evaluate the change in cognition over the course of treatments for people with depression. This role provided me with experience interpreting and analyzing patients’ written responses to stressful, hypothetical situations and applying a predefined coding scheme.

I worked at CHOP’s Adolescent Depression Prevention and Treatment Lab on projects that evaluated the efficacy of Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents. My role involved recruiting adolescence and their parents to participate in research studies, conducting assessments of participants’ change in depressive symptoms following interpersonal therapy sessions, and acquiring participant data through REDCap.

My role involved designing, executing, and managing the social media plan across various platforms, assuring brand consistency; event planning, including community festivals that involved entertainment, media, activities, and vendors; and working one-on-one with customers, helping them select finishes and custom design their new homes.
