Digital Animation and Rendering| Spring ‘18This semester long course focuses on modeling a 3D environment then composing an establishing scene and rendering an animation that is focused on materials and dynamics. As a TA I attend lab sessions, write/disperse detailed lab notes, respond to lab and project related queries outside of class, and conduct class related research for future discussion. Urban GIS & Intro to GIS| FALL ‘17The course gives an overview of GIS, shows how it is currently being used in professional and academic settings, goes through multiple applications associated with planning and policy, and looks at methods for critically evaluating data and geographic analysis outcomes. As a TA, I led lab sessions twice a week, graded assignments, and assisted with final project development.Landuse/Landcover Change| SPRING ‘17The class is an applied, collaborative, and experiential computer-based course in assessing landscape change via remote sensing, GIS, and pattern analysis, primarily using ERDAS Imagine. As a teaching assistant I assisted in weekly lab demonstrations, conducted computer lab office hours, and graded weekly assignments.National Parks & Protected Areas| SPRING ‘17The course provides an introduction to management related issues of National Parks and Protected Areas. As a teaching assistant I graded papers and was available for student inquiries. The Doctor Patient Relationship| FALL ‘16This course explores the complex doctor-patient relationship through interdisciplinary discussions, and is preparation for a career in healthcare and/or to becoming a citizen who can effectively contribute to the process of change in the healthcare system of the future. As a TA, I attended lecture, lead discussion sections, and graded student essays.
