About Haley Rigdon, Lcsw

My career and interests have always centered around helping children and families. While in receiving my Bachelor's degree in psychology, I volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Douglasville for four years and at the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy (GCCA) in Atlanta for three years. After graduating, I began working for Paulding County DFCS as a Case Manager. I served in the family support and family preservation departments. I then attended and graduated from the University of Georgia and earned a Master's degree in Social Work. I worked for Hall for Gwinnett County DFCS, continuing my training in working with children and families suffering from situations like poverty, substance abuse, domestic violence, etc.I am currently looking to move out of Child Protective Services and gain experience in a different field of social work. I am excited to see what this next chapter of my career will bring!
