About Haley Seppa

The creative and the practical are essential for every business and I embody a balance of both. I am at my best when I can fully exercise both sides of my brain, whether it is creative solutions to budgetary requirements or practical solutions for creative asset design. I am a very patient person and I make things happen with ease, humor, and humility. I am a filmmaker, photographer, and creative operations manager. I currently run the creative operations, grants program, & internships program for the CSU Entertainment Alliance, which helps to provide internship opportunities, grants, new technology, free summer housing, and much more to the 23 campuses of the California State University system.Previously, I worked with The Moxie Institute for four years as partner development manager, social media manager, and a production coordinator on the award winning feature-length film "Connected." I was also the Special Project Manager for the new film series “Let it Ripple: Mobile Films for Global Change” which used new type of participatory filmmaking called “Cloud Filmmaking.” I am from Northern California, I have a BA in Film Studies from UC Berkeley and MFA in Cinema from SFSU. I also freelance and consult for a wide variety of photography and videography projects in a multitude of industries (American Conservatory Theater, YELP, Health & Fitness companies, company & actor headshots, personal & company celebrations, etc.) I love non-traditional narratives, queer theory, and the way cream mixes with iced dark coffee.
