Private remote English tutoring for students and professionals

Pack Light aims to honour Jewish change-makers through the creation of tote bags bearing their portraits. We facilitate the collaboration of a local Jewish artist + a representative of a cause that was near and dear to the change-maker's heart. The artist then designs the bag accordingly, and we get an idea of what useful materials should go in them. In essence, these totes are a pro-active, trendy way of celebrating an admired Jewish icon, and ensuring their positive efforts are continued today.

Privately mentored over 75 undergraduate students in academic writing and reading, informal conversation, and creative literature.

Partook in a rigorous cohort-based leadership development curriculum, while also managing a $7K budget for self-directed learning, including: community organizing and development campaigns, an interview-art project entitled "Nosed Hooks", a jewelry apprenticeship, and a climate justice course.Also managed a budget of $6K to co-plan and lead two educational seminars for the cohort.

• Design and implementation of My Jewish Lens x The Rabbinical World, a program engaging 15participants from around the world in a month-long remote photo documentation project,contributing to the museum’s photo database• Comparative analysis of museum programming on Jewish food education and philanthropy

- Developed and managed 4-week training and mentorship program for new Support Specialists in Tel Aviv and Manila, involving individual, group and remote training and QA checks.- Led and coordinated inter- and intra-departmental product education sessions, isolated, tracked and escalated issues and bugs with R&D team, and raised user needs and feature requests to Product to improve user experience.- Identified gaps in Help Center and internal Knowledge Base and wrote and edited +/- 30 articles for user, employee and partner use.

- Servicing user needs through Tier 1 & 2 Support, I answered B2B users’ queries through email and occasionally phone in a timely, quality-centric manner, developing best flow for user questions and use cases- Escalated recurring issues and bugs to supervisor and/or relevant Product Manager and supported Sales and Guest Communication Experience teams with new user onboarding and 3rd party communications

Tent: Fashion was a week-long seminar for designers and fashion-forward thinkers hosted by A Bit off the Top – an Initiative of Federation CJA in Montreal.Tent: Fashion will illuminate the multi-faceted connection between Jews and fashion. We’ll learn about Jews’ involvement in pattern making, tailoring, and other garment businesses. In light of Jews’ prominent role in North American garment workers’ movements, we’ll consider the many social and creative aspects of the industry through behind-the-scenes tours of textile and clothing factories.Throughout the course of the week we learned about fashion trades like wig making, fur, and tanning in hands-on workshops and visits. Tent also hosted private talks and workshops with contemporary designers and fashion bloggers. The week culminated with a public event, where Tent participants got the chance to pitch ideas for new projects to pursue after the program, judged by 3 industry professionals, as well as an audience vote.

I acted as the interim Communications Coordinator for the LE MOOD Festival of Jewish Learning, Arts & Culture. The experience was invaluable and greatly peaked my interest in Jewish culture and identity.
