I recently graduated from Shorter University in May, 2023 with an Associates in Pre-Nursing, and my B.S. in Human Services with a Psychology minor. I was amongst the top 10% of the School of Social Sciences academically and am therefore a member of the Pi Gamma MU honors society and through this organization earned the Human Services award chosen by the faculty and staff in the Social Science Department at the University. I am now furthering my education, and embarking in my second year of Georgia Highlands College ASN program and have plans to graduate in May of 2025 and emerge into the field of health care as an RN. I have experience in working both on the retail side, as well as the business side of a company that came from my role as Assistant Store Manager at Latitude Blue. I am CPO certified and with that also worked as a service technician during my time there. I have spent time interning at Bartow County DFCS and have an abundance of experience and knowledge in Social Work and Human Services fields and gained many skills from this experience. In 2022 I completed courses to earn my CNA license and have clinical experience in assisted living facilities. Through this process I obtained my BLS certification as well. I am very proud of both my academic and leadership accomplishments throughout my career. I enjoy being in environments with motivated individuals to work alongside with, and helping others in whatever field of work I am in. Advocating for patients is one of my top priorities as well as making a difference in each life I encounter.
