As a representative of Grady College, I am casting a positive and lasting light on the college and its students, faculty, alumni and even parents. I am constantly interacting with alumni, potential donors, special guest and speakers as well as potential Grady students as well as fellow students now.

The Georgia Interscholastic Press Association is through Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications under Joe Dennis, Director of Diversity and High School Outreach. This internship/assistantship includes reaching out to high school journalist and their publications, which can include online websites, newspapers, broadcast, literary magazines, and yearbooks. We host a conference every fall semester where high school students attend classes and workshops held at UGA. They are encouraged to enter competitions that we host through out the year. Part of my job is mostly office work as well as working on InDesign and Photoshop when needed for design purposes. I occasionally write articles for a weekly advisor update. I also am in charge of processing GSPA memberships, competition entries as well as sometimes judging publications and individual entries.
