As a graduate from DePaul University with a BFA in Film and Television with a Concentration in Screenwriting, I have always had a passion to tell a story. I am thankful to have been recognized for my work already since when I write, I take a lot from my own life and how I have grown up. Representation is so important for young people, and I just want to help them feel seen. Despite this, I do have plenty of experience writing darker material as well, with my drama film about the story of Medusa making it into the top ten percent of the Nicholl’s Fellowship and into the second round at the Austin Film Festival. I have been said to be a very versatile writer, with my portfolio containing both fun rom-coms and darker high concept films.
