LOUP Logistics is Union Pacific’s subsidiary. In this role, I assist specialized customers with creative solutions to enhance their transportation options while strategically managing and enhancing our network partner portfolio.

Chaired, facilitated and organized a group of nine committee members across three branches of government, who were responsible for representing, serving, and addressing student concerns before any local, state, and federal legislature. The committee and myself recommended to the ASI Board of Directors whether to support or oppose any pending legislation concerning Cal Poly students or the California State University system. Our committee communicated lobbying efforts, researched legislation, and reported all issues to the ASI Board of Directors. We worked diligently to establish long-term relationships between ASI and city, county, and state representatives.

Poly Reps is a voluntary, public relations organization of 33 students who assist in the promotion of Cal Poly to prospective students and their parents, alumni, potential donors, and friends of the university.

Union Pacific serves many of the fastest-growing U.S. population centers, operates from all major West Coast and Gulf Coast ports to eastern gateways, connects with Canada's rail systems and is the only railroad serving all six major Mexico gateways. Union Pacific provides value to its roughly 10,000 customers by delivering products in a safe, reliable, fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible manner.

I coached five individuals how to facilitate leadership conferences for high school freshman. Starting in June, I trained, coached, and managed the five team members so they could facilitate seven leadership conferences in Tulare and Bakersfield, CA. Once the conferences approached I operated the logistics of the conferences, in addition to the lights, sounds, and PowerPoint. I also provided feed back to the facilitators allowing them to improve and grow personally.

I was elected by the delegation of the California FFA Association to serve as the State Vice President for the 2014-2015 year. Along with my five teammates, we represented the over 76,000 Agricultural Education students in California. This commitment required me to postpone a year of college in order to serve the FFA members in the way they deserve. Throughout the year, I explored every aspect of the agriculture industry- visiting farms, dairies, touring poultry processing facilities, harvesting flax seed, and many other experiences. My teammates and I also facilitated agriculture and leadership workshops to agricultural education students across the state of California. We visited around 105 high schools, teaching about six lessons per day. In addition, I planned and facilitated seven leadership conferences throughout the state. The conference was titled the "Advanced Leadership Academy" where over 200 FFA members would attend each conference. Finally, my teammates and I finished off our year having planned and successfully ran the 87th annual California State FFA Leadership Conference. In addition to the key points of the year as described above, I also spent a lot of time giving speeches, advocating to government officials on behalf of agricultural education, and traveling across the state and country.

I give tours to prospective students and their parents of the housing facilities at Cal Poly.

Everyday I would greet and interact with people whether it was taking them to their seats, getting drinks, or bringing food and taking orders. I worked at a fast paced Mexican dining venue with both inside/outside seating doing preparatory tasks and cleaning jobs after the shift. I worked my way up from a Hostess to a full time server through my ability to move quickly, think efficiently, and my ability to interact with customers.
