I value civic learning and democratic engagement and I strive to impart these aptitudes to students. My objective is to prepare the active citizens of tomorrow with the skills to address prioritized community needs. I am personally passionate about voter engagement. I have led UCF through the Voter Friendly Campus designation process and the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (Silver and Gold seals). I am an active member of NASPA and serve as UCF’s connection to the LEAD Initiative. I love teaching and instructional design. Teaching for LEAD Scholar’s Academy and the Strategies for Success program are some of my favorite parts of my UCF journey. I really enjoy online teaching and learning, especially the use of Canvas.
