Currently, I am involved in the Cultivating Relational Attachment Despite Limited Engagement Study. Part of my responsibilities are constructing ideas for the design of the study, facilitating weekly assignments and meetings with research assistants, creating survey questionnaires, conducting participant recruitment in the community and through social media, managing participant data, and coordinating compensation in a team-oriented environment. I have been able to develop strong time management skills, I was exposed to multiple aspects of planning research projects, and I developed proficiency in Zoom, Qualtrics, and Phonic. I’ve also been able to gain familiarity with the Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and SPSS programs. Furthermore, I developed robust problem-solving skills through preparing and revising the approval process for applications to the University of Irvine Institutional Review Board. I manage social media accounts, research connections in the field of mental health, and perform outreach. Also, I complete clinical tasks when needed such as researching clinical measures.

I contributed to the Sent-Away Study which focuses on how separation experiences in childhood affect adults later on in life. In the study, I integrated and managed questions on Qualtrics surveys. Additionally, Additionally, I researched, read, and organized literature on measures pertaining to attachment, trauma, mental illness, and well-being.

As a Behavior Therapist, I worked one-on-one with young children with developmental disabilities to implement Applied Behavior Analysis programs for specific skills and behaviors. I communicated the children's progress to parents and my supervisors. Additionally, I collected data and collaborated with my supervisors to ensure that the children I was administering therapy to were meeting their therapy goals.

I had a brief gap in this position from April 2019 to August 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this role, I reconciled monthly ledgers and followed up on missing documents. Additionally, I worked onorganizing and filing financial tasks assigned by the Financial Analyst. I also provided administrative assistance on various projects such as setting up conferencesin departments such as Human Resources and Community Relations.

I was involved in the Parenting on the Spectrum Study where I analyzed qualitative to quantitative data by coding responses based on constructs. There, I also gained communication skills and literature review skills.

In this role, I created and organized a paper document filing system, I assisted lawyers and paralegals inside and outside the firm with case information. Additionally, I trained and mentored new interns on task-related projects.

Working with young Elementary school kids, I performed tasks of planning and teaching lessons on the Korean language, culture, and history. As a teacher, I assessed the learning progress of students and created individualized lesson plans. I also discussed students’ progress and status monthly with parents to better support them outside and inside the classroom.
