As a lead molecular technologist, tasks and experience include, but are not limited to: specimen labeling, processing, testing, storage, supply stocking, aliquoting reagents, and following standard safety guidelines, lab procedures, and HIPPAA regulations. Testing methods include TEM-PCR, qPCR, and rT-PCR. Also responsible for reviewing patient testing and quality control results, reporting results, overall direction of patient testing, communication between client services, clients, sales, and other management. Responsible for training and competency assessments of laboratory staff. Prior experience includes data analysis of pollutant emission testing to report to the EPA while performing as a data analyst, and minimal experience with RStudios, SAS, SQL, Python, and C++ during college studies.
