In my life of working, I have worked mostly in customer service. When I was 17, I started working at Ingles as a cashier. After about a year and a half of being a cashier, I moved to the Deli in Ingles. I realized that I was not making enough money to support myself, so I started looking for different career options. I found Sykes, which is where I worked being a customer service represenitive. I would answer called from customers calling in about their AT&T bills, problems, phones, and ect. I was not a telemarketer, so I would never call out unless a customer asked me to call them back the next day. While I was working at Sykes, I started going to school to be a cosmetologist. I worked at Sykes for a year, while I finished hair school, and then finally got my job being a hair stylist. I worked at Supercuts first for about six months. I enjoyed working there, but was not making enough to support myself. I then found the job at SportClips. I worked there for year before I realized I could do better, considering there was not much room to grow in the industry. I finally ended up at GreatClips, where I am currently working. I have been with the company for four years. I have been a lead stylist at one point with the company, but when I became pregnant with my daughter, I decided that I need to step down from all the stress. I am currently going to school for a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I plan to take it to Forensic Psychology. I need a change in careers, as I do not plan to work in hair all my life and this is something that interests me the most. I am great with people, critical thinking skills, talking down arguments, being a leader, good with working under stressful situations, great listening skills, fast learner, and more!
