I am a graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a BS in Finance. I have a demonstrated history working in the beauty retail, business finance, and education industries.Over the course of my college career, I have gained many skills which will be valuable as I enter my career. I have held several leadership positions such as classroom leader for a freshman transition college course, business ambassador, business tutor, alternative assets manager for a student fund, and lead cashier. Throughout these various positions, I have been able to hone in on the different qualities that make a great leader while attempting to emulate them myself. Through my experience as an insurance intern, I have had vast insight into a subsidy of the finance industry while gaining deeper customer service skills. I was able to gain further experience in the finance world through my Mortgage Specialist and Government Insurer roles and learned how to analyze information for loan approval/denial. While at the University of Northern Colorado, I attained Dean’s List recognition each semester, was nominated into a lifetime Beta Gamma Sigma membership: an honor society with chapters at only the top 5% of business programs around the world in which only the top 7% of juniors at UNC were selected, was an active member of Student Center of the Public Trust: a club which teaches ethical values to future business leaders, and was granted a wealth of knowledge through exquisite business classes. One such class was the student and foundation fund (SAFF) where I invested/managed nearly three million dollars of the university’s real money. Most importantly, I have learned that I am a driven, detailed-oriented self-starter with a hunger to continually learn. As proof of my success and drive, I graduated with Latin honors (Magna Cum Laude) for attaining the appropriate GPA. My myriad of experiences coupled with a superior education offer me a great springboard to build from in my lifelong career.I am very excited to expand my business network!
