• Constituting all aspects of sourcing system of Edible Grocery and implementing project to daily trade• Reaching all potantial and existing source in Turkey and World to make feasible buying for all commodity• Creating local buyer team and managing team according to Metro C&C policies• Developing sourcing solutions with manufacturers for our Private Brand business.• Forward buying of the commodity products according to seasonality and price increase expectation.• Managing specified product groups (Rice&Pulses, Oil)• Leading day-to-day business relationship with the key suppliers through supporting activities including contracting, ordering, communication of demand, volume, delivery time changes, issue resolution, follow up back orders.• Deciding product assortment in line with trends and customer expectations. • Preparing monthly reports about harvest potantial to review sales performance and profitability• Working collaboratively with Sales Department, Finance, Marketing, Logistics, Legal and in order to reach category targets.
