As the Business Development Lead, my job is to create and foster partnerships with international development agencies, Governments, policy makers, the private sector, NGOs and civil society organisations. Successfully oversaw the rollout of MajiVoice to 13 utilities in Kenya enabling access to water and sanitation services to over 10 million citizens. I was also able to oversee the rollout of oversight modules for the Water Services and Regulatory Board (WASREB) and Water Action Groups (WAGS) to monitor performance and enforce service delivery standards by the public water utilities to citizens. I was also a Water Ambassador under the Water Anchor - a unit within the Transport and Water and ICT Department of the Sustainable Development Vice-Presidency of the World Bank Group.My role also included partnership development with stakeholders within the value chain. In addition, I designed communication strategies, did resource planning, handled system training, managed complaints and subsequent process improvements and fostered the capacity building of partners.MajiVoice is a citizen monitoring and feedback software that provides the Kenyan public with a medium through which they can voice their concerns about water services using mobile and web technology.

AGES Group is a social enterprise aiming to transform current management models into their more sustainable versions by developing quality ecosystems that are intelligent, efficient and sustainable for cities, towns, industry, villages, communities and homes. As a co-founder and projects led, I was in charge of a diverse team of 5 that was responsible for the design and implementation of projects around climate change mitigation, energy and sustainable development.

Provided strategic direction for AIESEC Kenya's national partnerships with corporate and non-corporate clients. As the key account manager on the National level, my role was to lead a team of 10 local chapter Vice Presidents who were also managing client accounts on the University level. It was my responsibility to train them, mentor them and streamline their partnership development processes. My role also entailed managing major national events and conferences for the organisation. Key to all client acquisitions and partnerships for AIESEC Kenya was the selling and management of the Global Talent Exchange Program which I was able to oversee within Kenya and through partnerships with AIESEC countries across the globe.

I did this by ensuring that the environmental management system (EMS) was working effectively, by auditing a particular subject (e.g. waste minimisation, water or energy efficiency) to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and by reviewing the performance of suppliers/contractors.
