As an IT Fresh Program Manager, I facilitated and implemented the IGA Fresh Produce strategy, which was expanding rapidly through Acquisitions and Joint Venture to deliver a common, integrated and robust IT solution to support the core business processes across all 9 produce warehousesI also led the way in developing a strategic business initiative, which was to introduce a new concept in fresh food retailing – Harvest Market. This franchise model was fully based on an IT solution to provide a full end to end integration from point of sales, back office system to the distribution ERP wholesale system. The model was based on exclusive supply by Metcash food and Grocery business and therefore the entire IT infrastructure; POS system functionality must integrate with Metcash system to bring a new level of excitement to the retail marketplace.

My 18-month in PowerTel has predominantly been in the Operation Group as an Operation Support Manager. My role in Operation Support involved:• Setting up the Ops Support Group by developing a team of 3 Project Managers, which include creating Job descriptions, involvement with recruiters, interviewing & managing the budget for this team.• Managing & documenting the Virtual ISP project processes from Operations perspective, involving with the Quantum Internet, Comindico teams (re: Ordering & Provisioning processes) as well as PWT Marketing group, Engineering & IT systems to provision/maintain these services.• Project Managing of the End-to-End Provisioning Process. This project was one of the top five projects in the company priority. Its purpose was to guarantee the speed & accuracy of the service delivery process, and building in capability to cope with much increased quantities of order throughput.• Owner of Provisioning Reporting project. The purpose of this project was to raise awareness and visibility of key provisioning performance measures, resulting in improved internal & external perceptions, and improved customer confidence in PowerTel’s speed and reliability of service delivery.• Managing the Revenue Assurance project. The purpose of this project was to audit all services on the PowerTel network, ensuring that these services exist in the Operating systems and the relevant charges for each individual service are being billing correctly.• Contributing to the successful development and launch of the Extended Access, Southern Cross International services, Virtual Private Network, Local Number Portability, Virtual ISP and many more products that PowerTel enhanced & developed over the 18 month period. • Managing internal/external policies, procedures, and identify process improvement opportunities.• Providing pre-sales support to Account Managers enabling them to seek out and develop business opportunities in existing and potential accounts.
