Whenever I answer the question, "What did you study in university?" I am usually met with a mix of surprise and curiosity. With a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Mathematics and Dramatic Arts from the University of Lethbridge, I’ve had the opportunity to blend logical problem-solving with creative expression. This combination allows me to approach challenges from multiple perspectives and connect with a diverse range of learners, enhancing my ability to foster dynamic educational environments.Currently, I’m completing a graduate certificate in Sexual Health through the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, which has strengthened my commitment to bringing inclusive education into the classroom. My studies directly support my role as Volunteer Coordinator at Pro-Choice YQL, where I focus on community outreach and advocacy. I am dedicated to ensuring continued access to reproductive healthcare resources in these increasingly polarized times.These experiences have reinforced my desire to create educational spaces that empower and support all students. I’m excited to bring these insights into the classroom as I pursue a Bachelor of Education, with the goal of fostering inclusive and respectful environments where all learners can thrive.
