This team had responsibility for server upgrade's and domain consolidation for the global USB environment including more than 8,400 servers and 32 domains. This included server reviews, DNS infrastructure changes, Windows Server upgrades and any needed trouble shooting. Domain consolidation work reduced the functioning domain count from a complicated 32 domains into a nimble and manageable 4 domains. Responsibilities additionally included creating and documenting the upgrade and consolidation process and training/on-boarding of new members to the team. This was a global effort which included coordination with server application owners, UBS management staff in London, England and our parallel Wintel working team in India. • A hands on position with full responsibility for server health through the entire migration and upgrade process. • All tracking and coordination efforts completed through UBS's Service Now and Global Service-Now Portals. • Position included work in Power Shell for automated scripting of domain migrations. • Physical and virtual server upgrades were completed via RDP with virtual environments managed using VMware. -

This project covered more than 196 hospitals and 193,000 clients saving more than 3.5 million dollars annually. The scope of this work included deployments, testing, trouble shooting and client host remediation. This huge project unified and standardized IT Security for all the clients and servers at CHS. In total, these deployments touched over one million hosts.• Site documentation and migration procedures created and distributed to empower hospital IT staffs to follow, test and confirm migration results.• Open phone bridges setup to allow feed-back and trouble-shooting from sites during major portions of the roll-outs. -

Mechanical Design EngineerToshiba America Consumer Products Dec 1992 - Sep 1998 Responsibilities included design, testing, approval and introduction of new mechanical components into mass production. This included plastics, metal, wood and all packaging related components such as EPS foam cushions and corrugated containers. All design work was completed in ProEngineer Mechanical Cad software. Packaging component testing included fit-and-function as well as vibration and drop testing against internal and industry standards. Mechanical component testing included fit-and-function, tip, vibration, UL standards and paint adhesion. Development work included attending tooling trials for large plastic components, EPS foam cushions and corrugated containers prior to premass and mass production dates. Additionally, I supported all CAD related infrastructure within this department including all Hardware/Software upgrades and installations. Mechanical CAD software included Anvil5000, ProEngineer, ProPDM, ProIntraLink and MoldFlow. My contribution to our sites ISO 9000-9001 certification process was additionally significant: I wrote many of the initial drafts for the design engineering development process.

Design EngineerSquare D By Schneider Electric 1990 - 1992UsResponsibilities included design project management and product development related to Panelboards and related components. This included new designs and introductions of new products into mass production. An example new product included design of Square D’s new 3000 Amp Panelboard. Other projects included team efforts related to the new Custom Bus project which automated electrical bus designs based on customer requirements. All design work was completed in Computer-Vision CADS Mechanical Cad software. Design testing included lab thermal temperature testing following UL standards as well as simulated software testing using ANSYS Finite Element Analysis software to simulate and predict thermal testing prior to sample creation. Other effort was extended in records support such as Engineering Change Order (ECO) releases for new products as well as maintenance and obsolescence. Considerable contributions were made in saving the company money by obsoleting old product offerings and inventory. -
