I have been in the service industry for many years now but it wasn’t until two years ago that I began to realize the impact technology can have in aiding a business and improving the customer experience. For many years the most sophisticated piece of technology in our restaurant was the adding machine I used for paperwork. Two years ago we transitioned to a Point Of Sale system with networked terminals and printers throughout the store. Ever since I helped with managing this transition I have fallen in love with learning and helping others learn how to use technology to better our lives.Away from work I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter, and two dogs. I love playing at the park with my daughter, watching college sports and visiting bookstores with my wife.I am currently trying to transition in to the IT industry. I recently obtained my CompTIA A+ certification and I am currently studying for the Network+.
