Graduating this spring, I am a Graphic Design student at Michigan State University in the Honors College, minoring in Entrepreneurship & Innovation through the MSU Burgess Institute of Entrepreneurship. I am driven by the moment in design when an individual has paused, absorbed, and discovered new ways of thinking. I view design as more than just the transfer of information, but the system that bridges communication and learning to our personal experiences.Outside of classes I found a creative community through MSU's AIGA student group, where I am currently President. I have loved having the opportunity to guide the group and generate the networks and creative collaboration that have been crucial to my design growth.In parallel to my design work, I am currently in the creation process of my personal ceramics studio! I fell in love with the hands on creation progress that is presented by ceramics, and decided it is something I want to pursue alongside design. If I can play in the mud and create meaningful art pieces for others to enjoy in their home, why not!
