My PhD research examined if and how universities have leveraged Commonwealth Games to achieve lasting, beneficial legacies. It investigated the strategic planning required to ensure desirable sport event legacies in a university setting. This research provided understandings of interorganizational relationships between universities and industry, and stakeholder sport event leveraging and legacy outcomes.
