As a 3rd-year honors student at the University of Arkansas, I am interested in innovative and sustainable practices in design. Currently, my studies include Interior Architecture and Design with a minor in Event Management. I am also a member of Pi Beta Phi Arkansas Alpha. Originally from Kansas City, I am grateful to have over two years of intern experience from Benson Method, LLC. This internship allowed me to take what I have learned in design school and apply it to healthcare and hospitality design. Benson Method also allowed me to learn more about project management while building my connections to local companies and firms from the greater Kansas City area. I have recently returned from studying furniture design abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark where I expanded my views beyond interiors to explore other areas of design such as furniture, textiles, and product development. I am always looking for new opportunities to explore the endless branches of architecture and design relating to sustainability, technology, and human experience. I am excited to continue pursuing a career in design where I can utilize my skills in team collaboration, digital software, and innovative thinking.
