At Better Beginnings, our objective is to help women and their families before, during and after the arrival of a new baby by providing quality, personalized in-home services and support. We provide birth doula support with experienced labor doulas, and we are the most trained and focused group of postpartum doulas in the Twin Cities, Rochester, and Duluth, Minnesota. The birth and postpartum time is our passion, and supporting our clients through their birth experience and the first weeks and months after childbirth is our sole mission.I am certified as a postpartum doula through Doulas of North America (DONA) International, the most reputable, respected, and widely known doula organization in the world. I am also a certified lactation counselor (CLC) through Healthy Children Project, and a certificated lactation educator counselor (CLEC) through the University of San Diego. I am also certified in adult, child, and infant CPR.I am energetic, motivated, and passionate. My background, prior to my current position, is in secondary education with a focus on language arts and communication.
