Hal has a passion for entrepreneurship and business opportunities within Atlantic Canada. Hal's keen sense of understanding how to grow a business from nothing is proven day in and day out through the way in which he runs his companies. In 1992 Hal purchased the Ford Dealership after the previous owners had gone bankrupt - and has since purchased the other Ford store in the same town. In 2005 he purchased the local Mazda store as well. In 2018 he purchased a Chrysler store that has been seriously underperforming. Hal purchased the store in April and sales have increased by three times same period last year. While working within his businesses takes up a good majority of his time, Hal still finds time to give back to the community in which he runs his companies. He is past President of the Miramichi Chamber of Commerce, past President of the Local Automobile Dealers Association, and much much more. Hal currently is chair of the Miramichi regional hospital foundation and sits on the board of the Chamber of Commerce and Miramichi Airport Commission. Hal is currently the co chair for the Ford regional advertising association and also sits on the national advertising board. Hal has been Married to his wife, Brenda for 37 years. He has two sons, Justin and Josh that both work in the business with him. He also has 4 grandchildren.
