I have been working at Beycelik Gestamp, partnered with Beycelik and the Spanish Gestamp Automocion that designs and manufactures the molds, equipment, and components that world-renowned companies like Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Renault require to build automobiles since 2007. I worked as the "Plant Director" responsible for the management of all Beyçelik Gestamp Chassis Plant functions (HR, Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Logistics…etc.), strategic new investment planning, budget management and financial reporting, operational performance management, and all activities required for continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction between 2011 and 2019. During this period, I led global project matrix teams comprised of English, French, and Spanish technical specialists for the establishment of 4 new greenfield plants. I successfully managed the construction phase, the recruitment and training of the plant labor force, the installation of necessary machinery and equipment, the commissioning of all processes required for the production of products in accordance with the required quality, cost, and productivity conditions, as well as budget and cash flow responsibility. The newly constructed plant received the Ford Q1 Award in 2008, in a very short period of time like 9 months (standard duration is between 18-24 months).I pioneered collaborations with global OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) such as Ford, Toyota, and Renault. With these collaborations and as the result of my experience in advanced/lean six sigma production and management systems, I ensured that commercial profitability was elevated to "benchmark" standards while improving corporate growth. I have been working as the "Business Development & Engineering Director" since March 2019. Due to the increase in new investments and sales, I have shifted some of my "Plant Director" tasks and focused solely on the responsibilities that will define the company's future.
