Haluk Özenç was born in 1971 in Ankara. After completing his secondary education at Istanbul American Robert High School and his higher education at Boğaziçi University Engineering Faculty Cinema Department, he completed his master's degree in Istanbul University Communication Faculty Radio-TV-Cinema Department. He started acting in 1989 with the cabaret program “YARI ŞAKA YARI CİDDİ” broadcast on TRT. After ten years of acting and acting as a theater director at Robert High School, in 1999 he started his screenwriting career with the movie "FASULYE" and continued on television with the TV series ”TATLI HAYAT" in 2001. Since 2001, he has written over 600 TV series scripts, many feature films and he has been giving screenwriting and drama training in many educational institutions, especially TÜRVAK. Since 2014, he has also returned to acting by taking roles in important TV series such as ”SEKSENLER" and ”ÇOCUKLAR DUYMASIN", one-man shows in theater and successful plays such as ”İKİNİN BİRİ". Haluk Özenç continues to work on new projects as a screenwriter, actor, producer, trainer and consultant. He is married and has two sons.
