During my tenure (a) Loral acquired Telesat Canada, becoming the fourth largest satellite company in the world; (b) Loral sold Space Systems/Loral, its satellite manufacturing subsidiary, to MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.; (c) Loral paid two substantial special dividends to its shareholders; and (d) Loral’s stock price increased approximately 2.5x (excluding dividends).
