AFPC is currently undergoing an ambitious Nationalisation programme and rapidly moving from facilities operated principally by Shell and Contract Indian staff. to facilities are 96% National staff. As the Section Head it is an important role to play in the competency development of the National staff.Accountabilities:- At central production facilities (CPF) ,four dehydration trains , receiving oil from eight gathering station , The crude is conditioned to export quality, metered and exported. The export crude is pumped via a 3rd Party (SCOT) operated oil export line to the Banias terminal on the Mediterranean - Residual gas is collected from the incoming crude stream in a Vapour Recovery Plant (low pressure reciprocating gas compressor). - Cover a wide range of operational management. Next to the technical duties, man-management is a very important part of the job i.e. training, motivating, assessing & appraising of national & expatriate staff. This includes validation for promotion where appropriate. - A key part of this job is maintaining water injection targets.
