Chief Accountant
CurrentTo supervise overall day-to-day accounting operation.Managing the preparation of all monthly financial reports in a timely manner.To assist the Group Finance Controller in compiling the budgets and forecasts and to aid the heads of Departments by proving historical data or support details.To set guidelines and deadlines for each employee's monthly work to ensure timely financial reporting.Maintaining ledger of assets and depreciation schedules. To keep support of all general ledger reconciliation.To guide all the accounts staff on accounting standards and procedures.To ensure that an organized, up-to date filing system is maintained for all pertinent financial records.To administer, verify and log the submission of Capital Expenditure / Disposal requests by department heads and forwarding of the same for approvals.To keep the track of all Licenses and to inform and co-ordinate the renewals. To verify and authorize all Suppliers and other cheques and payments.To verify monthly payrolls, staff vacation and final settlements To verify menu costing and advise management on time to time.To prepare special statistics reports required by the management.To coordinate with external auditors and produce all the relevant reports for them for the annual audit.To prepare all monthly financial reports, management reports, cash reports and miscellaneous reports and make sure that it has been send to Corporate Office with the approval of the Group Finance Controller.To assist in hiring, training, and appraisal of accounting personnel as part of the effort to build an efficient team and to take an active interest in their individual development and welfare.
