Experience of Working in Materials Engineering Laboratories of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.• Polymer and Composites Laboratory: Vacuum infusion techniques, Resin transfer Molding, Compression Molding, Hand laminating techniques, Prepeg technology.• Mechanical Testing Laboratory: Tensile testing of Composites and metals, Flat-wise compression testing of composites structures, Edge-wise Compression testing of composites structures, Flexure testing of composites, Tack tests on impregnated fabrics.• Chemistry Laboratory: Characterization of Polymeric resins by Brookfield rheometer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Thermal gravimetric Analysis (TGA).• Metallurgical Laboratory: Characterization of composite and metals. (Light Optical Microscopy & Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Grinding and Polishing of Samples).• Furnace Room: Melting and Purification of Steel and Aluminum for P&O project (High Temperature Furnaces, Vertical Tube Furnaces).• Machining Laboratory: Dimension and Preparation of the Samples (Lathe Machine, Plate Cutting Machine, diamond cutter, Saw Cutter, Bending Cutter).Theoretical knowledge of Materials characterization Techniques.• Microscopy: Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Focussed Ion Beam (FIB), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) • Spectroscopy: Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis (EDX), Electron Energy-Loss Spectroscopy (EELS)• Diffraction: X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Neutron and Electron diffraction
