Cloud Operations Engineer

Key Deliverables:Provide troubleshooting for assigned level, operating system upgrades, capacity planning and provisioning on a daily basis.Perform monitoring and proactive maintenance of overall Unix/Storage/Compute systems and applications.Administration of Veritas Netbackup for data integrity and durability.

Key Deliverables:Installation, configuration and upgradation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux & CentOS.System Administration of HP OpenView 8 and Nagios which is used for monitoring MPBN, IN Networks.Deployment of MRTG tool which is used to monitor routers and switches for Bharti and U-Mobile Provider.Monitoring & troubleshooting with performance related issues of Linux Boxes.Administration and Deployment of in house AMS (Access Management System).Managing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and administering AWS.Worked primarily with the following AWS services: EC2, S3, Route53, VPC, Cloud Watch, IAM, Auto scaling, Elastic IP, Security Groups.Python setup, Installation, and upgradation.Monitoring and updating Tickets (issues) through Incident management system based on BMC Remedy.Local and Remote administration of servers, routers and networks using enterprise standard tools – HP NNM (Network Node Manager) and HP PI (Performance Insight).Publishing the Incident notification, Reports and Daily dashboards and SLA Breach analysis to the Internal and external clients.Taking backup on Linux server using rsync and tar.Taking a checklist for Daily Basis (Servers, Network, Backup and Application).Weekly server activity like clearing security logs, checking the disk space, Antivirus updates.Installing software, patching, upgrading and maintenance of the operating system.
