CPP Canon is a global leader in digital imaging and industrial printing. CPP Canon mission is to accelerate new digital print technologies and transform them into local printing products. One of the main visions is to increase applications of digital printing. Variety of media (paper, textile, polymer, car board, etc.) with different surface properties pose lots of complexity and difficulty to reach to this vision. Immense attempts within R&D have been concentrated on studying media and ink properties and their interaction with each other.My focus is to study ink layer film formation, morphology and topography of the ink layer and media, interaction of ink-color grip-media with having access to various surface analyzing techniques such as electron and light microscopy (HRSEM, FIB-SEM and LM), 3D surface optical microscope (NPFLEX) surface profilometer (Dektak), Atomic force microscopy and various preparation techniques like ion polishing and microtome. Some of my main responsibilities include:• Work on several projects regarding the study of printed ink layer and interaction of ink with various types of media.• Set-up and conduct experiments, analyze results and communicate findings and provide expert advice to counterparts in project teams.• Write research and experimental reports.• Develop and implement new methods and tools to further support projects.• Train colleagues to use various walk-up instruments and help them with interpreting the results.

I acquired knowledge about high temperature anti-corrosive coatings for application in turbine blades and vanes. I was working on producing and formulating of some coatings in laboratory and then industrial scales with hands on the process.Moreover, I was responsible for preparing (ordering, casting, heat treating, forging,...), quality control (micro-structure study, mechanical and chemical testing) of materials specially steels, and documentation of the processes.

I was responsible for execution of mechanical tests and processing of polymeric composites, contacting with the costumers to choose appropriate testing procedure, execution of tests according to the standards, and presenting documented results to the customers.
