BS degree from Tehran University in 1980, MS in Physics from MSU, in 1982, MS in EE from UND in 1986. and Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada, in 1990. He was Research Associate, Adjunct Professor at UM, and Head of Applied EM group at IMT in Winnipeg, MB from 1990 to 1996. In 1996, he joined Tripoint Global Communication as a principal engineer, head of R&D, and later was promoted to VP of Technology. He became part of General Dynamics Satcom Technologies Division as a Director of Product and Business Development where he was responsible for VSAT, and Wireless Product line. He recently joined Skyware Global where he is currently Chief Technology Officer responsible for engineering and product development. He has served on IEEE MTT Journal as technical reviewer as well as ANTEM Conf. He was a technical program committee member in several international conferences. Published over 50 papers in referred Journal articles and conference papers. He holds multiple patents in the area of satellite communication antennas. His contribution in satellite and wireless antenna industry is immense especially in the area of Broadband Satellite Terminals and Terrestrial Microwave Communication with over 2 million units already installed globally.Specialties:Design of UHF, microwave & millimeter frequency antennas, feeds for parabolic reflectors, non radiative waveguide, microstrip antennas, computational electromagnetics, frequency selective surfaces, beam forming network, adaptive antenna, auto pointing satcom and terrestrial terminals, radar cross section, phased array antennas, wireless & satcom link analysis, computer aided design for antennas, high volume manufacturing processes, and global manufacturing.
