Electronics has been my passion since my childhood. After graduating from college I started my first business, designing and manufacturing office intercoms, hospital patient monitoring systems and a secure communication system for the office of the President of Pakistan. I came to Reno in 1980 and helped Kinderfoto, now Lifetouch put their revolutionary computerized camera through field testing and into service. This camera was years ahead of its time in the industry. In 1986 I started Vital Systems, an electronic design and manufacturing company with focus on providing high standards to local area businesses and eventually expanding to defense contractors nationwide. Vital Systems was certified to build weapons grade electronics by the Department of Defense in 1986. Since then Vital Systems has expanded its services employing industry’s latest technologies and offering better terms to its customers in the Silicon Valley in particular and nationwide in general. I have worked with the US Navy on several programs including ship self-defense systems, spares for Trident submarines, advanced satellite communication systems for the US Air Force, EKG machine and building complex broadcast electronics that are manufactured for our customers and sold worldwide. I have developed MRP ERP software that runs Vital Systems’ entire operations in real time and paperless. This system is designed to monitor all aspects of the company to reduce operating cost while increasing process accuracy and departmental output efficiency and a lot more.
