As an intern at Pisomtech, I was responsible for implementing an intelligent system to control hotel rooms by turning on/off various devices such as lights, air conditioners, and televisions through a mobile application. Using my skills in Python, OpenCV, and C++, I was able to develop the application and integrate it with hardware components such as RFID, door magnetic, Arduino, and ESP32-CAM. I successfully implemented several key features of the project, including an authentication process at the door using face recognition and human tracking technologies. This involved leveraging my expertise in software communication between the esp8266 and running the ESP32-CAM. Overall, I played a critical role in creating a smart room that was fully controlled by a mobile application, which helped to improve the guest experience at Pisomtech.
