Hamid Behnam is a assistant Professor at Iran University of Science and Technology at Iran University of Science and Technology. Colleagues describe him as "First time I met Hamid was a cold winder day of 1991 in a small but very active research Biomedical center in Northern Tehran. I was in responsible for developing a basic operating system and software drivers of a medical Ultrasound that Hamid and his colleagues were designing. I was one of the youngest members in the team and I had this feeling that I am working with some brilliant minds, which was very true, and I cannot afford any mistake in my design, which was very wrong. Apparently, the environment was very cold for me and I was thinking I am being monitored by some Engineering nerds, and then I tried my best to watch the line. But this didn’t last too long. The guys, especially Hamid and Hussain, helped me to cop with the environment, and leaned me that every mistake is affordable as long as you have good friends to help you even after hours spending with you to debug your faults. From that time I found Hamid a great guy, excellent in detail, with very good knowledge, creative imagination, and very big heart. Now, I see he is a successful teacher and researcher as well.
