I am the program coordinator and liaison of the Technology and Development Advanced Modeling (TDAM) group at Micron Technology. For this, I am coordinating modeling (i.e structure building, stress-strain, data engineering, and data science models) projects that are built to give insights into complex silicon behavior to advance chip performance and minimize silicon waste. For this role, I am interfacing with many people from different groups within Micron to facilitate collaboration and inform silicon decisions.

Advanced Modeling Engineer - Data ScientistMicron Technology Apr 2022 - PresentBoise, Idaho, United StatesAs an engineer in the Technology Development Advanced Modeling (TDAM) group, I work on process and structure modeling projects, in particular in predictive and prescriptive multiscale simulations and software/app development. I work with modeling team members, customers, and the management team and contribute to the large-scale development of modeling solutions and methods to deploy across Micron sites. -
Graduate Research AssistantHoward University Aug 2017 - Dec 2022Washington, District Of Columbia, United StatesMy research focus is on multiscale modeling of polymer composite, atomistic simulations, uncertainty quantification, and physics-informed machine learning. For my dissertation, I will be developing an image-based stochastic multiscale model to predict the mechanical properties of polymer composites. To this end, I will be using image characterization techniques to extract statistical information from the morphology of composite microstructures. Later, I employ an amalgam of numerical techniques to construct a hierarchical multiscale model that is informed by the extracted statistical information of micrographs. In the end, I will quantify the uncertainty associated with the input parameters of the constructed multiscale model. -
Graduate Teaching AssistantHoward University Aug 2019 - Dec 2019Washington, District Of Columbia, United StatesHolding lab sessions of the course Mechanics of Materials Lab at Howard University in the Fall 2019 semester. During the semester, we ran tests on obtaining mechanical properties of materials e.g. metals, woods, concrete, and so on so forth. I was also responsible for grading assignments as well as serving as a judge to evaluate the designs of students who were going to attend the National Student Steel Bridge Competition. -
Lead MentorHoward University Jun 2019 - Jul 2019Washington, District Of Columbia, United StatesDuring my ongoing graduate program at Howard University, I served as a lead mentor in two summer camps to provide mentorship in engineering and entrepreneurship topics to a group of high school students with underrepresented backgrounds. I was leading a team from Howard University to design activities for the students to exercise drafting problem statements, brainstorming ideas, sketching ideas using computer-aided design (CAD) tools, converting sketches to products using 3-D printers, and finally, presenting products to their mentors, families, and friends. In addition to the technical details, I also talked with them about the important roles of entrepreneurs, engineers, and decision-makers in society’s sustainable development. -
InternU.S. Global Change Research Program Nov 2020 - Mar 2021Washington, District Of Columbia, United StatesThe U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) is a federal program mandated by Congress to coordinate federal research and investments in understanding the forces shaping the global environment, both human and natural, and their impacts on society. USGCRP facilitates collaboration and cooperation across its 13 federal member agencies to advance understanding of the changing earth system and maximize efficiencies in federal global change research.I spent five months doing an internship at USGCRP. During my internship, I worked with the Global Change Information System (GCIS) team and the Federal Adaptation and Resilience Group (FARG). GCIS is metadata that integrates information about changes in the global environment and related societal effects, with a focus on federal information products. During my work with the GCIS team, I reviewed and later integrated many reports, articles, books, etc. that had been cited in the fourth national climate assessment (NCA4). During my work with FARG, I facilitated collaborations among federal agencies on climate adaptation and resilience. Particularly, I was focused on decision-making under the uncertainty workstream of FARG to inform federal decision-makers to consider climate change as an uncertainty in the future planning of their agencies. To this end, I was meeting with people in policy careers, learning about their roles and the way that their agencies function, writing proposals for future workshops, writing white papers, helping with logistics, attending in many calls with stakeholders across the federal government, and many more activities. -
Graduate Research AssistantHoward University May 2018 - Aug 2018Washington, District Of Columbia, United StatesSimulating the influence of wire rope base-isolators (WRIs) on mitigating earthquake vibrations. To this end, a computer server was simulated which was being supported by a specific configuration of multiple WRIs on its underneath. Then, the vibrations of the computer server with and without the WRIs were compared and the mitigation of vibrations was observed.
