Muhammad’s long term career objective is to become a research practitioner with expertise in microsystem technology and integration especially in the application of microelectromechanical system (MEMS) and Surface Acoustic Waves (SAW) sensor and actuatorMuhammad obtained his PhD degree from La Sapienza Universtity of Rome on the topic SAW sensor for liquid environments. After finishing his PhD, He worked at the University of Southampton for SAW sensor for LNG tank nondestructive health monitoring project. Currently, he is working in the topic of SAW application in Organ-on-Chip, funded by MSCA-IF grant.He was with the Institute of Microelectronics, Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR) Singapore as Research Engineer where he was involved in the development of smart miniaturised medical devices by integrating MEMS devices. Also, he worked with industry partners in fabricating MEMS device prototype such as MEMS micromirror, MEMS pressure sensor and DNA FET Biosensor. Prior to that, he was working with STMicroelectronics as Device Engineer where he was responsible in Power MOSFET Integrated Circuit (IC) Process Integration and Yield Enhancement.Specialties: semiconductor microfabrication and packaging, MEMS, miniaturised medical devices
