As part of our Utilities pillar on the Electric School Bus team, I manage a subgrant with a partner organization regarding a Mutual Aid Agreement for electric school buses and vehicle-to-grid technology for disaster response. Additional duties include planning and executing our quarterly Utility Working Group sessions, drafting a case study about a selected school district's electric school bus program, and researching and evaluating electric utilities' transportation electrification programs.

My time was split between the E-Mobility team and Electric School Bus Initiative.As part of the UPS Project on the E-Mobility team, I am the lead author of a forthcoming working paper on Zero-Emission Delivery Zones, their status in U.S. cities, and guidelines to promote efficacy and equity. This work involved a literature review, stakeholder interviews, and navigating WRI's extensive editorial and publishing process. As part of the Electric School Bus Initiative, I managed a subgrant with a partner organization regarding a Mutual Aid Agreement for electric school buses and vehicle-to-grid technology. I also lead interviews with school districts to discuss their school bus programs and am authoring a vignette on a selected school district.

As an intern with WRI's growing E-Mobility Team, I contributed to researching best practices for producing EV Roadmaps, applying to the country of Vietnam. I also contributed to evaluating the effectiveness of different EV financial incentives as part of two cost-benefit analysis studies for Vietnam.

-Serves as a National Guard Bureau regional representative responsible for the management and streamlining of renewable energy and utility infrastructure projects under the DoD's Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program-Performs utility, water, energy, and solid waste data standardization, cleaning, and validation in preparation for data report deadlines-Engages ARNG state energy managers and other stakeholders to interpret federal and ARNG policy guidance, manage data reporting, and facilitate energy project development-Prepare energy policy and energy management courses for ARNG energy management personnel in order to improve ARNG project execution and sustainability metrics

As an intern with the Environmental and Energy Study Institute, I am working with the Institute's On-Bill Financing team, which helps rural co-ops develop financing programs to provide weatherization, energy efficiency, and renewable energy benefits to customers. I am developing the informational content for the team's upcoming webpage on the strategies with which states and utilities approach energy efficiency and beneficial electrification together. Additionally, I am writing informative articles on energy efficiency, beneficial electrification, and related policy topics. Not only will I be a part of this unique program's inaugural class, but I have also received one of the program's Fellowships which will allow me to engage with the program's leaders and participate in their research opportunities.

As a Resident Assistant, I help my residents feel comfortable and enjoy their experience at the University of Georgia by hosting programs that promote diversity, are educational, and encourage healthy lifestyles. I also help mediate disputes between residents and act as a resource for them concerning questions about University services for personal issues. When on duty, I perform security checks throughout the community to make sure that the buildings are secure, and I respond to any emergencies that may arise.

During the summer of 2018, I interned at the law firm Pope McGlamry and worked with their whistleblower attorneys. With no prior knowledge of the whistleblower legal field, I had to conduct extensive research and collaborate with the legal professionals in the office to significantly contribute to the development of the firm's upcoming whistleblower website content. Additionally, I assisted with other case research and attended a case deposition.

My first summer at the Democratic Party of Georgia office was during the 2016 presidential campaign season. At the time, I worked with John Buckner, the then Finance Director. He would assign me projects such as helping with contacting voters for the Yellow Dog Club. Mostly, I helped with the Party's New Day Georgia program which was established to help raise funds as well as increase support for the presidential election. I would compile past donor information into the Party's database and make phone calls to potential donors. At the office I would also facilitate phone calls made into the office, and I would assist with general office tasks. This past summer, I returned to the office and worked under Michael Smith, the Communications Director. I would compile daily political information regarding national news as well as state news for Michael. I was also assisted with researching information about news reporters for my boss to contact later, and I helped with other general office tasks.

As an intern with the Office of International Affairs I received daily tasks from my direct supervisor and contributed to several long-term projects. At work, I would enter student information into Excel worksheets, compile student information and input needed documents into the Office's data base, and assist with study abroad information events held in the office or in the Tate student center.
