ApartmentJet was acquired by Expedia Group, and is the premier SaaS platform for multifamily owners and operators to convert vacant units into short-term rentals. As Head of Operations for Multifamily at Expedia Group, I oversee all operational activity for ApartmentJet and Pillow clients. I'm responsible for account management, partner and vendor relationships, analytics, and generating revenue from short-term rentals at multifamily properties throughout the country.

ApartmentJet is an enterprise solution focused on leveraging our clients' vacant and underutilized apartments to drive additional revenue, and increase NOI by utilizing short stay marketplaces like AirBnB and HomeAway.

I split time between running LeaseStar Products and LeaseStar Engineering. As the head of engineering I'm responsible for running Engineering, QA and Product Design teams for the Marketing Products (LeaseStar) division. The teams are spread across Dallas, SF, LA, Chicago, Manila and Hyderabad. I'm leading the efforts to rebuild disparate products with a RESTful service-based architecture. Part of my mission is improving our agile culture and implementing continuous integration throughout the products. Our core tech stacks include Java, MVC .net, Node.js, Angular, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, MongoDB and SQL Server. While head of Product my role is to lead the product direction, design and roadmap for our enterprise suite of marketing solutions. Our marketing products include CMS, Syndication, Websites, CRM, Social Campaigns, Smart Leasing Tablet and Classifieds.

I was responsible for the consumer-facing ILS business including MyNewPlace and RentSocial. I lead the product and engineering teams as we rebranded and rebuilt the site that included migrating from a legacy code base to a Scala Play Framework and Apache SOLR. I was responsible for cutting nearly $1.5M in traffic acquisition costs while launching new acquisition strategies focused on brand and organic growth.

Co-founder of RentSentinel and RentSocial. I came in as the CTO and was responsible for pivoting the early stage startup from consulting to SaaS. As the CTO and SVP I lead the efforts to hire and manage our very talented engineering and product teams. We grew to a multi million dollar business with 50 employees that was acquired for nearly 5x revenue by a publicly traded company in 2013.

Responsible for overseeing the infrastructure design and build out for a treasury management SaaS application. In charge of developing a nationwide client support team and related support processes. In charge of release management and production development team.

Part of the executive leadership team. Implemented an in-house document management system and process that saved the company $2 million per year. Led the software development team that was responsible for an online application and case management system accessed by foreign healthcare workers in 40 countries.

IT software consultant for Oracle and Java technologies. Served as Interim IT Director for CGFNS International, also.

Technical leader focused on Oracle and Java technologies. Designed and developed custom software solutions for various clients ranging from real estate industry to healthcare. Technical Leader responsible for a SaaS application that won the Oracle North American Partner Solution of the Year award.

Joined EDS (now HP) and successfully completed their Information Analyst developer boot camp. Worked onsite for our client Kellwood Corp. I lead efforts on building a custom cash application system for their Oracle Financials platform, and was the lead BI analyst and developer.
