Ontario And Atlantic Canada

M&A advisor (2013-2015) leading the $481 million divestiture of this Canadian retail fuel distribution leader to Parkland Fuel Corp. Interim President & CEO for Pioneer Fuels (2015-2017), an Esso-Branded commercial fuels business in Ontario and Atlantic Canada with annual distribution of more than 220 million litres of heating fuels, diesel and gasoline products, aviation fuels and lubricants, overseeing operations and preparing the business for divestiture.

Led the reorganization of Guelph Food Technology Centre and merger with NSF International - combined to become one of the largest food safety certifiers in the world. Proceeds of this transaction created the GFTC Legacy Fund that provides strategic investments in technology, education and training to advance innovation, competitiveness, sustainability and safety in the Canadian Food Industry. Worked with the BOD to manage the fund and to identify and arrange suitable long-term investments in this field.

As a principal private equity investor and COO, led Corp. Dev't and Operations for this leading Canadian Family Office firm as well as Business Advisory Services for clients. Directed the successful sale of the firm to Scotiabank in 2010 and led post-sale integration.

Jameson Bank was a privately owned Canadian Schedule 1 Bank focused on delivering foreign exchange and related treasury services to Small and Medium Enterprises and individuals in Canada and selected US markets. Served as interim CEO to re-build the leadership team and recruit for key roles, simplify the corporate focus, address regulatory matters and serve the shareholder base during a period of transition prior To its acquisition.
