My role at FD Recruit was to manage the North of England Region. I recruited CFOs & Finance Directors into Industry positions on either a full-time or interim basis.

North West, North East And Yorkshire

Led recruitment teams specialising in Qualified and Senior level appointments within the Commerce & Industry sector. Offices in the centres of Manchester, Leeds, Middlesbrough and Newcastle.Full strategic, operational and financial accountability for Commerce & Industry Division in the Northern Region encompassing Accounting & Finance, HR, IT, PPM, Practice, Procurement & Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing & Communications business streams.Focused on driving growth through the development of temporary and permanent opportunities at the part qualified, qualified and executive levels within each business.Proven capability in identifying, developing and promoting high performance individuals through tailored coaching and mentoring programmes.

North West, North East And Yorkshire

Full P&L responsibility for REED Finance in the North West, North East and Yorkshire.Managing and building teams specialising in senior and executive-level Finance, I grew the northern region in to a robust and profit making business.

Permanent senior finance and general management professionals in the North of England. Typical salaries range from £50,000 to £150,000 and whilst also working on a contingent basis, I specialised in advertised search and selection campaigns.

Joined Hays in 2007 and after being promoted to Senior Consultant and Business Manager in quick succession I moved into the Senior Finance Team recruiting for Senior Finance professionals from Finalist and Newly Qualified through to Finance Director level.

Total responsibility for all budgetary controls including sales, margin, labour, shrinkage and other controllable costs. Formulating short and medium term business building strategies based on Store performance data, company direction, competitor activity and local demographics. Anticipating customer needs and expectations, promoting and maintaining a ‘customer first’ attitude throughout all areas of the business. Establishing on-going staff training and succession planning to add value to the business and to retain and develop quality personnel. Implementing and measuring compliance to company and statutory standard in all key performance indicators. Developing effective team relationships at store, field and Divisional level.

I held various junior/management roles during my 20 years with Kwiksave/Somerfield including non-operational business development roles and secondments to HR and Buying functions.
