I am a professional engineer with a passion and education in structural engineering. I enjoy challenging and innovative projects that require hard work and outside-the-box thinking.My engineering career has been highly varied and ranged from commercial, industrial, and civil projects in both the design and seismic assessment space. More recently my portfolio has focussed on both health care structures, and the seismic assessment of existing buildings, in particular large multi-storey reinforced concrete structures. I have a strong passion for delivery excellence and the power of effective visual communication, which is reflected in my work. I offer solid technical excellence along with the ability to work well with others, cumulating into a highly productive and motivated work ethic.

With the current post-earthquake landscape in the Canterbury region, I have been exposed to large variety of seismic focused design and assessment work.My portfolio of work that I have completed has included: - Multiple large design roles for new build commercial developments in the Christchurch CBD- Lead design roles for both indoor and outdoor electrical substations through out New Zealand- Seismic assessments for a large range of structures through out NZ, including non-linear push over and time history analyses. - Lead structural engineer for a large retail development in Rangiora- Lead structural engineer for a large sporting development in Christchurch- Seismic strengthening works for a number of earthquake prone and earthquake risk structures
